Tai Chi for Health

The Tai Chi for Arthritis Program (TCA) was designed by Dr. Paul Lam to improve the quality of life for people with arthritis using Sun style Tai Chi, one of the five major recognized styles of Tai Chi. This style includes agile steps and exercises that may improve mobility, breathing, and relaxation. The movements do not require deep bending or squatting, which makes it easier and more comfortable to learn.

· Open to any medically able person interested in learning Tai Chi

· Evidence based health benefits including reduced pain and stiffness

· Improve muscle strength and joint flexibility

· Increase sense of tranquility and uplifting of the spirit
